Therapy, Tech & Typology: My Mental Fitness Routine
We train our bodies to stay fit — but what about our minds? In this post, I share how I’m building a personal routine around mental fitness using therapy, AI, and personality typology. It’s not about having it all figured out — it’s about staying in the work.

We talk about physical fitness all the time. There are gyms on every corner, apps tracking every step, and entire industries built around improving our bodies. But when it comes to our minds? The conversation tends to start only when something goes wrong.
Very few people use the term mental fitness. We hear “mental health” or “mental illness,” and both tend to carry a problem-first framing. It’s as if we’re wired to only think about the mind when it breaks down, not while it’s still running. But what if we treated our mental state with the same care and consistency we give our bodies? What if we had regular workouts for our mindset, attention, and emotional clarity to prevent something from snapping?
That’s the lens I’ve been exploring lately: mental fitness as a routine, not a rescue. And while I don’t have it all figured out — far from it — I’ve found a rhythm that’s helping me stay grounded, even on the tough days.
For me, that routine includes three core tools: therapy, tech, and typology.
